ICYMI: GRAND OPENING OF NEW SPLASH PAD AT PURPLE HEART PARK (VIDEO) - Tucson Mayor Regina Romero, Ward 4 Council Member Nikki Lee, and Tucson Parks and Recreation took part in a dedication last month to celebrate the completion of a new splash pad at Purple Heart Park, 9800 E. It was made possible through Tucson Delivers 2018 voter-approved Proposition 407 bond funds and Impact Fees. Improvements include a new splash pad area, perimeter fencing, five shade umbrella structures, seating, an accessible entrance, and landscaping and irrigation improvements.
