CITY HOLIDAY CLOSURES MONDAY - All City of Tucson offices, except for emergency services, will be closed Monday, Feb. 20, for Presidents Day. Residential and commercial trash and recycling will not be collected on Monday, and all collections will be delayed by one day. The Los Reales Sustainability Campus (landfill) will be open. Sun Tran, Sun Van, and the Sun Link streetcar will operate on a regular weekday schedule on Presidents Day.

DOWNTOWN LINKS PHASE III RIBBON CUTTING TOMORROW - You're invited to attend a ribbon-cutting event to celebrate the completion of the east end of the Downtown Links Phase III improvement project tomorrow, Feb. 17, from 9-10 a.m. Tucson Mayor Regina Romero, the Regional Transportation Authority, Council Member Lane Santa Cruz, and the Department of Transportation and Mobility will be in attendance to commemorate the completion of the new Maclovio Barraza Parkway, from Broadway Boulevard and Aviation Parkway to Sixth Street. If you are attending the ribbon-cutting celebration, parking will be accessible by entering south onto Maclovio Barraza Parkway from Sixth Street, between Stone Avenue and Sixth Avenue.

SIGN UP FOR SLOW PITCH SOFTBALL - Tucson Parks and Recreation is accepting registrations for adult men’s and coed spring slow pitch softball leagues.
