22ND STREET BRIDGE REVITALIZATION PROJECT PUBLIC MEETINGS BEGIN TONIGHT - The City of Tucson's Department of Transportation and Mobility (DTM) invites you to attend a public meeting to discuss the upcoming 22nd Street Bridge Revitalization Project that will replace the existing weight-restricted bridge over the Union Pacific Railroad, between Kino Parkway and Tucson Boulevard. The project will also widen the 22nd Street bridge from a four-lane divided roadway to a six-lane divided roadway to match the lane configurations on each end of the project for improved east-west connectivity. The first meeting is tonight, Nov. 16, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. It will be held virtually (link below), and there's an in-person meeting tomorrow, Nov. 17, from 5:30-6:30 p.m., at Tucson Parks and Recreation's Mesquite Room, 900 S. Randolph Way. Meet with DTM, the Regional Transportation Authority, and the contractor (OPS Constructors) to discuss travel during construction, receive information on the overall project, and answer questions from the public.
