Reid Park Reimagined Open House
Saturday, Sept. 10, 5-7 p.m.

Join us for a fun and informative open house to celebrate what makes Reid Park special today and imagine what it could be in the future!

The Reid Park Master Plan team will present three concept alternatives for the future of the park and ask for your feedback. Attend the meeting to learn about the concepts, ask questions, meet experts, offer your feedback, and enjoy entertainment. Food & beverages will be available for purchase.

In addition, a survey will be available Sept. 5 through Sept. 30. Take the survey to provide your feedback on the three concept plans and your vision for Reid Park.

The Master Plan will provide an aspirational roadmap for Gene C. Reid Park's long-term evolution. The plan will be used to help guide future investments in the park with the con?dence that they ?t into a larger strategic vision.

Having a park Master Plan is important to ensure that available resources are allocated e?ciently and to the items of the highest priority. As future reinvestments in the park are made, different funding sources will be used, as appropriate, to the project.

View project updates and take the survey (after Sept. 5) at the website below.

On Nov. 6, 2018, City of Tucson voters approved Proposition 407, a $225 million bond package for capital improvements via General Obligation bonds. The bond funds are dedicated to improving City park amenities (playgrounds, sports fields, pools, splash pads, and recreation centers) as well as connections (pedestrian pathways, bicycle pathways, and pedestrian and bicycle safety). Projects will happen in phases through 2028. Thank you, Tucson voters! For more information on all the projects planned using Tucson Delivers bond funds, visit TucsonDelivers.Tucsonaz.gov.
