The annual City of Davis Parks and Recreation “6th Grade Graduation Party” is finally here! This red-carpet event is on Thursday, June 9, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Center (203 W 14th St). All recently graduated sixth graders are welcome. This event continues a long-standing tradition of welcoming elementary school graduates into the seventh grade. The party is a celebration of accomplishments, fun times with friends, listening to a DJ and dancing! There will also be video games, a photo booth and a food truck!

Registration opens on Tuesday, May 31, at 8:00 a.m. The party details will be posted online as of May 23. Tickets are $17 per participant and can be purchased at the Parks and Community Services office (23 Russell Blvd), or online at https://webtrac.cityofdavis.org/wbwsc/webtrac.wsc/splash.html, search for activity number 750200. 

This event usually sells out, so be sure to register early! Graduates should bring extra money for the photo booth, snacks and food truck! 

There are no refunds for the “6th Grade Graduation Party.” You may only register for sixth graders listed in your household. A roster will be printed right before the party begins. You can also bring your receipt as proof of purchase.
