Clay County Public Library Newsletter: July 2023

Clay County Libraries will be closed Tuesday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day.  Library materials will not be due this day.  You can still access newspapers, magazines, books and more through our digital library.

Summer Reading 2023
June 5 - July 29
Summer Reading runs through July 29.  We have lots of fun activities for all ages!

Stop by any Clay County Library branch to pick up summer reading logs for every  member of your household!  Complete and return each reading log for an entry into random prize drawing for either: Early Childhood (ages 5 and under), School Age (ages 6-11), Teen (Ages 12-18), or Adults (ages 19 and older).

Each participant can complete up to 4 reading logs over the summer.

Summer Free Lunch Program for Kids

12 p.m. - 1 p.m.

Through July 20

(No lunches served on July 3 or July 4)

We're partnering with Clay County Public Schools and the FDA to provide free meals for children ages 18 and under at select libraries this summer.

 Children will receive a free meal at:

Middleburg-Clay Hill Library

Monday and Wednesday

Orange Park Library

Tuesday and Thursday

All meals must be eaten on site.

This book club meets in the conference room at Orange Park Library.

The Creation Space at Orange Park Library is OPEN!

All Creation Space users must be ages 18 and older.

All Creation Space users are required to participate an orientation class prior to using the space.
