CLYDE: Radical Continuing Resolution Greenlights Pelosi Priorities

Washington, D.C. — Today, Congressman Andrew Clyde (GA-09) released the following statement after voting against H.R. 6833, a continuing resolution (CR) that extends government funding through December 16, 2022. The CR ultimately passed the House this afternoon by a vote of 230-201.

“After turning a blind eye to the myriad of crises plaguing the American people for months on end, Democrats remain solely focused on funding these catastrophes rather than solving them. Additionally, Democrats’ irresponsible short-term fix hands more than $12 billion to Ukraine with minimal accountability — serving as a slap in the face to the American people as Washington continues to blow billions on protecting the sovereignty of foreign borders while intentionally failing to defend our own.
