July of 2022, Potters and studios will have several events taking place for a great experience in the Seagrove area.

This weekend TWO of our pottery shops are celebrating some major anniversaries! Let's congratulate Michele Hastings & Jeff Brown, along with Eck McCanless on their successful shop milestones.

From kiln openings, demonstrations, and some hands on experince in clay, we hope you can plan your visit for a first hand look at the process of making pottery. Our potteries are open all year round with new pieces being restocked weekly!

Twelve years ago we moved our pottery studio from New Hampshire to Seagrove, NC. We are celebrating this anniversary with an open studio and tent sale. See pottery making demonstrations, shop in the gallery as well under the tent outdoors where we will have specially priced pots.

Eck McCanless Pottery Anniversary Celebration

Face Jug Classes
Gift the gift of an unforgettable experience!

Throughout the month of July
Crystal King Pottery is offering "Make your own Face Jug/ Face Mug" classes.

Sign up via website www.CrystalKingPottery.com Crystal King will provide a hands-on step-by-step demonstration for you to follow as you make your own Face Jug. Crystal will have your mugs pre-turned so you can spend time creating your own funny face. Pieces will be fired during the following week and ready for pickup or optional shipping. Children under 12 must be helped by adult who can help them with their piece. Book your spot with the link below.

The Triangle Studio - Saturdays in July!
The Triangle Studio will have demonstrations the first three weekends in a row. This studio houses multiple artists and each of their work is available in the gallery. Each of these Saturdays will feature a different artist so come get to know us!

Saturday, July 16th Erin Ellis will be handbuilding small vessels and she says there is enough clay to go around if you want to try your hand at making a small pot.

New work will be available this month for the event , and watch our craft come alive with a month of demonstrations and activities that are free and open to the public.

1:00 - 2:30 - Cost $40 This is a hand-building project, we are sure you can make. Learn how to assemble and decorate using stamps and texture tools. Bowl is 11x5 Leave your creation to be finished in the glaze you select. Call to sign-up or come 20 min. early to join in if space is available. Max class size is 12.
