Today, Congressman Andy Biggs (R-AZ) will unveil his 118th Congress impeachment articles against Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas at the House Triangle. Congressman Biggs was the first member of Congress to introduce articles of impeachment against Secretary Mayorkas, introducing them in August 2021 after concluding that Secretary Mayorkas’ dereliction of duty in protecting our nation’s borders constituted high crimes and misdemeanors. At least 15 members of Congress will provide remarks and advocate for the impeachment of Secretary Mayorkas.
