Congressman Burchett Statement On Speaker Pelosi Not Seeking Re-Election In Democratic Leadership

WASHINGTON, D.C-, U.S. Representative Tim Burchett (TN-02) released a statement in response to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s announcement that she will not seek re-election to Democrat leadership in the 118th Congress:

“Congratulations to Speaker Pelosi on her historic career. Although we don’t agree on anything, she’s always been kind to me, and she’d often ask about my daughter Isabel when we’d meet on the House floor. I have no doubt she’ll keep working hard to represent her constituents in San Francisco.”
