“During this Congress, we enacted the PACT Act which finally treats toxic exposure as a cost of war and allows for healthcare through Veteran Affairs to address its impacts. It is with great pride and enthusiasm that House Democrats have worked to guarantee that Veterans have accessibility to benefits including educational, economic, and mental health support they rightfully deserve.

“On Veterans Day, we celebrate and show gratitude to our service members for the sacrifices they make for America. It is also an opportunity to recommit to ensuring veterans and their families have the resources they need to live meaningful lives long after they hang up the uniform. I will continue my work in Congress to do just that.”
