Congressman Zeldin Joins State Lawmakers and Candidates to Speak Out Against Congestion Pricing

NEW YORK – Congressman Lee Zeldin (R, NY-1), the Republican Party and Conservative Party candidate for Governor, joined New York State Assemblyman and candidate for Congress Mike Lawler, New York State Senate Minority Leader Rob Ortt, New York State Senators George Borrello and Tom O’Mara, Rockland County Executive Ed Day, New York State Senate candidate Bill Weber, and New York State Assembly candidate John McGowan to call for an end to congestion pricing.

“You want more people riding public transportation? Improve the service. Ensure more people feel safe on public transportation. People are telling me they are taking their cars instead of getting on a train, because they fear that when traveling on a New York City Subway they have to hug a pole or grab a guard rail, afraid of being pushed onto an oncoming subway car. If you want that person riding that subway, they need to start feeling safe again,” said Congressman Zeldin.
