We have packing boxes that we no longer need. They are in excellent condition. Please stop by the Center at Pomfret, if you can use some.

Evening Bird Walk
Thursday, August 10 at 6 p.m.

Join Andy to look for various species of birds. Both newly fledged and post-breeding adults are likely to be seen. Email [email protected]  to register. Fee: $10 members, $20 non-members.

Nature Sketchbook Journaling
Saturday, August 26 at 10 a.m.

Join Roxanne Steed to learn the practice of the 10-minute-sketch-walk. Go outside for short walks with sketchbooks, and then come back inside to finish your pages with paint and details. Discuss ways to make your images into larger paintings. Suggested supplies: watercolor sketchbook, permanent marker, portable watercolor kit, small cup to hold water, and paper towels.
