An Empty Plate = Hungry Child

Help Fill Empty Plates for Our Hungry Neighbors

Whether shared with family, friends, or entire neighborhoods, backyard cookouts create some of our most cherished summertime memories.

With the support from friends like you, the Connecticut Food Bank works to ensure that none of our neighbors get left out.

Your generosity makes all the difference for families like Maggie’s and Todd's. They have hosted and contributed to their fair share of neighborhood barbecues over the years.

Todd was injured on the job and will be facing an entire summer without a paycheck. Maggie, a schoolteacher, will need to find part-time work over the summer to provide for their three children. Instead of filling their plates alongside friends and family, they will struggle to put food on their own table.

Please help us fill plates for our hungry neighbors in our area this summer. Your gift will help us provide nutritious food for children and their families in our community. Every $40 you give help provide a month's worth of meals.

Help Fill Empty Plates - Give Now

There is no immunity to hunger. It exists in every community and it affects us all. And so many of us, like Todd and Maggie, are just one life-changing event away from food insecurity.

Please give now to help feed more of our neighbors at risk of hunger this summer. Together, we can make a significant impact in the fight to end hunger in Connecticut.
