The Royal Court will assemble at Gauley River Elementary to crown the Queen's Court.

Brown sugar, applesauce, spices, flour, put it in the oven for half an hour! The Craigsville Fall Festival Apple Pie Contest , Sponsored by First Community Bank!

Whatever recipe granny left you, bake it up and bring it out for the community to enjoy!  Have your Apple pies at the Bank for judging by 3:00 pm., on Fri.,

Show me that prized quilt that you have hanging on that ladder in the corner of your living room. Show me what Great Aunt Edith quilted for you. Show me that Wedding Ring pattern that you are so proud you mastered.

5:00 PM - 9:30 PM : Kids Night - Free for all ages - Gauley River Elementary

Bring your kids out for some Free fun games, prizes, laughter and music. Fun will be had, no matter the age. See you then!

8:00 AM - 2:00 PM : Harvest Show - Nicholas County Vocational and Technical Center

Local Produce and Canned goods will be on display with the 2023 Harvest Show at the Craigsville Fall Festival! Participants can bring their produce, canned goods, and such to the Nicholas County Vocational and Technical Center on Friday, September 15 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm where the judging will take place that evening. The show will be Saturday, September 16 from 8:00am to 2:00pm.

8:00 AM - 10:00 AM : 5K run/walk - Nicholas Co Vocational Technical Center

Calling all passionate runners! Join us for the Craigsville Fall Festival 5K run/walk through our beautiful mountain hometown.

Registration starts @ 7:00 am, race starts @ 8:00 am.

8:00 AM - 4:00 PM : Antique Car Show - Presented by Touch of Class - Singleton's Pre-Owned

Antique Car Show - Presented by Touch of Class Car Club will be held at Singleton Pre-Owned Auto Lot on Rt 20 near the post office. Bring your classic ride out for a day of fun, music, and prizes.

The professional judges using digital technology to rank the cars will be handing out door prizes, playing games and awarding trophies. Awards Ceremony will follow the Grand Feature Parade.

8:00 AM - 12:00 PM : Wild & Wonderful Weigh-Off - Craigsville Foodland

The Mountain State Giant Growers present the Inaugural Wild & Wonderful Weigh-Off! Giant Produce including Pumpkins, Watermelons, Gourds, and more.

10:00 AM - 3:00 PM : Antique Tractor and Equipment Show - Nicholas Co Vocational and Technical Center

Fire up Grandpa’s old John Deere, Minneapolis-Moline, 8N, or whatever fed the family for generations! The 2023 Craigsville Fall Festival Antique tractor and Equipment Show is HERE! Registration begins at 9:00 AM next to the Nicholas Co Vocational and Technical Center. Awards will be presented after the Grand Feature Parade at 3:00 PM.

10:00 AM - 2:00 PM : Art Show - Craigsville Public Library

Use your imagination and show off your talent! The 2023 Art Show will have categories and art styles for all artists.

Age categories:

Coloring contest up to 6 yrs old

Students Age 6-12

Students Age 13-18

Adults

Students free entry, Adult entry fee $5. All fees collected will be to benefit Craigsville Public Library.

Pieces need to be entered by 5pm Friday to be judged during Fire Parade and viewed through Saturday. Winners announced after Grand Parade Saturday

10:30 AM - 1:00 PM : 2023 Craigsville Fall Festival Chili Cook-Off - Gauley River Elementary

Spice up your fall and get ready for those long winter nights cuddled by the fire. The 2023 Craigsville Fall Festival Chili Cook-Off is your chance to break out the recipe book and set hearts ( mouths) ablaze!

The cook-off will be held at Gauley River Elementary Gym. Entries may be dropped off from 10:30 to 11:00 AM with the entry fee of $10.

Judging will begin at 11:00 when our judges and Queen’s will sample the goods then at 11:30 the people get their chance to cast a vote for their favorite chili before the winners are announced after the parade.

All entries must be picked up by 1:00 PM on Saturday Sept, 16

Antique Car Parade featuring contestants from our car show and local area antique vehicles.

2:00 PM - 3:00 PM : Grand Feature Parade - 413 Craigsville RoadCraigsville, WV, 26205

Our grand feature parade presented by the Craigsville Fall Festival! Featuring local high school marching bands from RHS, NCHS, and WCHS, local church groups and organizations, local businesses and much more!

All Grand Feature Parade participants need to be at the theater for line-up by 1:15. For the safety of our spectators, event staff, and parade participants, the Nicholas County Sheriff's Dept will close Rt 20 from the intersection to the top of the hill past the theater at 1:15. All side roads and entrances will be blocked to all traffic except emergency vehicles.

3:00 PM - 4:00 PM : Marching Band Showcase - Gauley River Elementary

Our local high school marching bands perform! Join us as we celebrate the hard work and dedication of our bands from NCHS, RHS, and WCHS.

3:00 PM - 9:00 PM : Craigsville Fall Festival Corn Hole Tournament - Gauley River Elementary

The 2023 Craigsville Fall Festival Corn Hole Tournament is ON! Saturday, September 16, 2023, at 3:00PM at Gauley River Elementary in Craigsville, WV.

Entry Fee:  $20/team

Prizes:  Cash prize & gift cards to winning team

Rules:  games will end when one team hits or exceeds 21 total points

4:00 PM - 5:30 PM : Acoustic Fusion - Gauley River Elementary

Acoustic Fusion has been making music for over 35 years. Joy & Steve Koltenuk's duo offers up crowd pleasin' ballads, foot-stomping Classic Rock, Blues Rock, good ole Country, and some of their heart felt originals - with some good, clean fun thrown in!

5:30 PM - 7:30 PM : Rockhouse Road - Gauley River Elementary

Bring your lawn chair and join us for an evening of the best thing since you made that mix tape back in 1995. A little bit Country, a little bit Rock N Roll, from Allman Bros to Brooks and Dunn, they are sure to play all the songs you’ve known and loved.

8:00 PM - 10:00 PM : Nite Phix Band - Gauley River Elementary

Nite Phix headlines the Saturday Music and wraps up the day with Hot Rodded Country, Southern Rock, Classic Rock, and Blues! Come rock out with us as we bring the festival to a close with a fireworks finale!
