Creative 360 in Midland employs a staff with many creative talents. The actors, visual artists, vocalists, and writers have found a way to interweave their particular passion into creating an organization that is distinct in the community. Sometimes you see a public display of these talents – paintings done as examples for Cocktails & Canvas and Kids & Canvas; acting in and directing stage plays; vocal concerts and more. A recent example is when Express Yourself Artshop Coordinator Allise Noble exhibited at ArtPrize.

Noble reports to work each weekday from Saginaw to lead a staff of talented and compassionate teachers who together provide arts experiences for people with mental, intellectual and physical disabilities. At the same time, she quietly continues to create and sell her own art. She has received several exhibit awards, and her work is part of personal collections across Michigan.

Her ArtPrize exhibit, Unlimited, is a12-piece mixed media project that depicts 12 different women around the globe. The collection speaks to women’s experiences beyond their differences. The “portraits” include women of all ages, races, and time periods each communicating a different theme through the use of pattern, color and metallic elements.

“My goal with this work is to represent women around the world as they live out their day-to-day lives, each with their own hopes, dreams, fears, and relationships,” Noble explained. "Our situations and struggles are very different, but if in some alternate reality we were all given a chance to meet, I suspect we would find some surprising similarities, maybe more than we ever expected.”
