Debbie Badal, of Mendham, NJ, a veteran actress of Westfield Community Players (WCP) will once again appear on WCP's stage in The Dixie Swim Club...a Jones, Wooten, Hope comedy-drama.  Ms. Badal will portray Lexie Richards--A true southern belle from Chapel Hill, NC. Lexie is the vain, youth-obsessed event planner for a chain of 4-star hotels, who has her plastic surgeon on speed dial. Multiple marriages haven't tamed her appetite for male attention, and she'll be happy to share all her wild romantic exploits with anyone who will listen.

Ms. Badal has previously appeared for WCP in such hits as Squabbles (Mildred Sloan), Rumors (Cookie), Caught In The Net (Mary Smith), Dont Drink The Water (Marion), Steel Magnolias (M'Lynn) and The Odd Couple-Female Version (Florence Unger). In addition to theatre, Debbie competes in ballroom dance competitions with the Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Morristown.

The Dixie Swim Club is directed by Wanda S. Maragni and produced by JoAnne Lemenille.

The Dixie Swim Club opens Jan. 5, 2013 and continues Jan. 12, 18, 19 at 8pm and a matinee on Jan. 13, 2013 at 3pm.  Tickets are $20 and can be purchased through WCP Box Office at 908.232.1221 or on-line at: http://www.westfieldcommunityplayers.org/WCPticketrequest.html
