The Beautiful Baby Contest is a friendly competition that displays children's photos (newborn - 4 years) to raise funds for a handicap house for young military returning with severe life-altering injuries. 100% of
the money raised by the contest will be donated to ³Homes For Our Troops², a national nonprofit that builds handicap houses at no cost to the soldier, and is being earmarked for 22 year-old Army Ranger Sean Pesce¹s home being built in West Haven, CT. Pesce was shot 13 times. SPC Pesce has damage to several major organs, with one bullet severing his spine, leaving him paralyzed from the waist down.

Photos are displayed on a wooden voting booth at various events and locations in Newtown. The public votes with dollar bills for the cutest baby. The child whose photo raises the most amount of money wins the title.
Winning family is featured in the Newtown Labor Day Parade as the Beautiful Baby Winner, riding in a chauffeur-driven convertible provided by Mercedes of Danbury.

All information on the back of the photo is blacked out with permanent marker before the voting booth goes to Stop & Shop or any other location.

Entry fee is a $10 check donation made payable to ³Homes For Our Troops².
Mail checks and a 4² x 4² (cut a 4 x 6) or wallet photo with child¹s name
and contact email and phone # written clearly on the back to:
