Douglas County registered voters — watch for your General Election ballot in your mailbox. Ballots were mailed to all Douglas County registered voters beginning on Monday, Oct. 17.

Track your mail ballot. From mailed to accepted, track the status of your mail ballot by signing up for phone, text or email notifications from BallotTrax. If you are a registered voter and have not received your ballot at the address associated with your voter registration by Oct. 26, obtain a replacement ballot by contacting Douglas County Elections at 303-660-7444, or by visiting a Voter Service and Polling Center (VSPC) for assistance beginning Oct. 24.

What’s on the ballot? Visit the Douglas County ballot information page to review a composite sample ballot for all Douglas County districts and contests. Douglas County voters will receive the ballot style containing ONLY those districts and contests specific to their residential address on which they are eligible to vote.

Locate your closest ballot drop box. Did you know that nearly 90% of Douglas County voters prefer to deliver their ballots for free using one of the 21 convenient ballot drop box locations countywide? Safe, secure ballot drop boxes are open now through 7 p.m. on Election Day, Nov. 8, 2022.

Vote Early. Near You. No matter how you choose to return your ballot – by mail, at a ballot drop box or at a Voter Service and Polling Center (VSPC) – vote early and display the “I Voted” sticker included with your Douglas County mail ballot to show off your civic pride and remind the voters in your community to return their ballots.

Not registered to vote but want to be? Colorado election law allows voter registration up to and on Election Day. If you live in Douglas County, plan to vote in the November election and are not registered to vote, do so at DouglasVotes.com through Oct. 31 — after that time you will need to visit a VSPC.

Voter Service and Polling Centers. Voter Service and Polling Centers (VSPCs) will open at four locations in Douglas County on Oct. 24. Eight additional locations will be open beginning Nov. 4, and on Nov. 7 eight more VSPC’s will open, giving voters 20 locations to visit for election-day support.

When is the last possible day to vote? No matter how you deliver it, your ballot must be received by 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2022 — an Election Day postmark does not count.
