Nominations are due May 9 for the Spring 2016 awards, which will be presented at the May 16 school board meeting. For the criteria, nomination form and all information please see 'I Make a Difference.'

MES Pet Therapy Dog Lexi has retired after 12 years of "lending her ear and helping kids build confidence with her quiet presence" to MES students while they read. Her owner, Sami, has created 'Lexi's Legacy' which provides stuffed animals for students in need of a reading buddy, awards prizes through a contest at the library, and provides stuffed animals for any child who brings an injured or sick pet in for treatment at the ER Care Center. Thank you Lexi and Sami, for 12 years of dedicated service!
