Storytimes for Children Ages 3-4

Storytimes are important. They get children excited about books and reading and encourage the development of essential pre-reading skills. In early literacy storytimes we will discuss the importance of early literacy and explain how parents and caregivers can get children ready to read.

Early Literacy Skills

There will be a series of four classes,from Monday May 13 to June 10 at 9:30 A.M. There will be no class on Monday, May 27. The half-hour sessions will include reading a wide range of high-quality picture books, songs, poetry, fingerplays,flannel board and crafts. Each week we will highlight one or more early literacy skills.
