Community LLAD Advisory Committee

The District's Board of Directors has formed an LLAD Advisory Committee for Landscape and Lighting Assessment Districts (LLADs). The Committee is comprised of a variety of residents from different LLADs. They have been charged with reviewing budgeted vs actual costs, discussing issues with underfunded LLADs, and becoming more informed with LLAD financials and intricate operations. We are currently accepting LLAD Advisory Committee applications from the community. Apply today.

Facility and Birthday Party Rentals Available:

Do you need a facility rental? Book your 2023 events at a District park or facility! We rent out park picnic areas at Lake Forest Park, Oak Knoll Clubhouse, and more. Parks and facilities can be used for birthdays, retirement parties, social gatherings and more. You can also rent the TEENZ Center for your next birthday party! See details here.

Join the District's Design Review Committee (DRC):

Do you have experience in architecture, building design, civil engineering, construction, landscaping or other building industry trades? We want you! We have an open Committee position on the Design Review Committee. The Design Review Committee reviews applications for property improvements and new home development. Seniors:

The Gilmore Senior Center is CLOSED!

The Gilmore Senior Center has been closed for facility maintenance. Programs have temporarily moved to the District's TEENZ Center and the District's Gym Classroom at 1021 Harvard Way.

Upcoming event: Valentine’s Day Luncheon: Friday, February 10th from 10:30am-2:00pm. The District Gymnasium is located at 1021 Harvard Way. Participants must register in advance.

Join the EDHCSD Board Meeting In-Person or via Zoom This Month!

Meetings are currently held hybrid to allow members of the public to attend in-person or via Zoom. Limited seating available. Per policy, Board Agendas are posted the Friday before the regularly scheduled meeting date.

Parks Updates with Ryan:

Storm Clean-up:

We are still working on storm clean-up. If you see any issues, please report them to the Resident Services Office at (916) 933-6624 x.0.

Village Green Park Landscape Project:

117 new plants were installed around Village Green park (including by the waterfall). 400 yards of new bark was placed to complete the project.

North Commercial LLAD LED Lighting Upgrade:

The District has approved contractors to move forward with replacement of the existing 19 metal halide light fixtures between Highway 50 and Saratoga Way at North Commercial LLAD. The new lights will be LED fixtures. We are awaiting a start date from contractors.
