SPACE At THE KEYHOLE

If you haven’t heard yet, we are getting ready to launch the Keyhole Workspace Residency in the fall of 2024!

We ran a pilot version this past fall with 3 artists (Amartya DeLesley Finn & Vera Wu) whose work dealt with the theme of ‘home’ and learned a lot! We are running a pilot version 2 this spring and want to learn even more! This cohort’s theme is climate change.

Climate change is more than just weather patterns- it connects and affects every aspect of life and we are looking for 4 artists whose work examines these many avenues. From social and racial justice/injustice to the use of natural and recycled materials to interrogating our relationship with the ecosystem, we want to hear what you are thinking about!

During the run of the residency, besides the third floor studios, the residents will also have access to our outdoor space.

FREE to apply!

Please submit your application HERE by Feb 25th. The Keyhole Workspace Pilot 2 starts in late March; the participating artists will have a culminating show from mid-June through July. Artists will have access to the studios through the run of their exhibition, with the acknowledgement that during the summer the studios can get hot and are not temperature controlled. Exact dates TBD.

PLEASE READ THROUGH THE SAMPLE CONTRACT TO SEE WHAT IS EXPECTED FOR BOTH ARTISTS AND ECOCA

Although we are just off I 91/95 and a 15-20 minute walk from the New Haven train station, there is metered street parking. Please consider commute times and parking costs before applying.
