EMERGENCY RENTAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM IS RE-OPENING APPLICATIONS!
Public Housing Community Development (PHCD) is re-opening applications for the Emergency Rental Assistance Program starting on Friday, June 30, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. and is open indefinitely until further notice.
ERAP will provide emergency rental assistance to Miami-Dade County households experiencing financial hardships as a result of the COVID-19 crisis.
This will be the third time that the application process is being opened since starting the program in March.
As a reminder, ERAP is meant to help County residents that have fallen behind on rent or in certain cases utilities due to COVID-19.
To be eligible, a single person household must earn less than $50,650. Two person households earning less than $57,850, three person households earning less than $65,100, and four person households earning less than $72,300 may also qualify.
Residents that reside in the City of Miami and Hialeah must apply directly with their respective cities for rental assistance. The City of Miami and the City of Hialeah have received separate funding from the US Government for the rental assistance program. City of Miami residents can click on their link for information on their program at www.miamigov.com/Residents/Housing/ERA-Program. City of Hialeah residents may apply for assistance at www.hialeahfl.gov/.
The application must be completed by the tenant, but landlords/owners are encouraged to contact the program by email at LandlordsERAP@miamidade.gov or by phone at 786-688-2440 to refer tenants who are behind in their rent. PHCD will make every effort to get landlords and tenants to work together to resolve problems.

Landlords are encouraged to contact the program at: LanlordsERAP@miamidade.gov or call 786-688-2440 to refer tenants who are behind in their rent. You and the tenant(s) will be contacted, and we will determine how you and the tenant may be helped. You must contact the program during the same period as noted above between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., beginning on Monday June 30, 2021.

However, if you cannot gain access to apply online or do not have an email address, paper applications will be available at two locations:
Northern Miami-Dade County:

Southern Miami-Dade County:
1542 S.W. 4th Street
The 2 locations listed above will be open for drive-through only. You may pick-up an application and drop-off the completed application from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday starting June 30, 2021, except holidays.
** PLEASE NOTE: Submission of application by paper is at your own risk as there is a greater chance for error and disqualification. IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT YOU COMPLETE AND SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION ONLINE. THE APPLICATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE UNTIL FRIDAY, JUNE 30TH AT 9:00 AM AND IS OPEN INDEFINITELY AT THIS TIME.

OUR Florida is currently accepting applications for rental and utility assistance to support residents and businesses as they continue to recover and rebuild. and will begin processing applications in the order in which they are received.
It is important to submit a complete application with all required documentation to receive assistance quickly and accurately.
