Encinitas Summer Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Guide out now!

The City of Encinitas Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department is pleased to present its Summer Guide. Guides will be mailed beginning this weekend to Encinitas residents.

The Summer Guide highlights all the healthy and fun activities you've come to expect every summer in Encinitas including classes, camps, sports, events including Art Night, and summer concerts, bike/e-bike education, and much more! Your summer fun guide for the season.

Registration for summer session programs begins on Monday, May 15 at 8am. Note, summer camp registration began on March 8. Many popular programs fill up fast, so don’t delay!

Movie in the Park - Disney's Raya and the Last Dragon

Join us for the Disney hit, "RAYA and the Last Dragon.” The family-friendly movie tells a story of the fantasy world of Kumandra, where humans and dragons lived together long ago in harmony.

Movie night is a perfect time to spend with your family and friends enjoying a blockbuster family-friendly film under the stars. Before showtime, kids can participate in a free craft activity and make Mother’s Day cards. Be sure to visit our movie night sponsor KickForce Martial Arts’ booth to learn about martial arts moves from the movie.

Be sure to bring your blankets and low-backed chairs. Bring food and drinks to enjoy a picnic in the park, but please no glass containers. The movie begins just after dusk (approx. 7:30pm). For more information, click here.

Get Your Game On! - Playful Connections: Cross-Generational Game Day

The City of Encinitas Senior Citizen Commission in partnership with the Encinitas Youth Commission is pleased to host Playful Connections: A Cross-Generational Game Day.

This event is designed for anyone who would like a chance to meet members within the community of Encinitas of all ages and abilities for a time of fun and games. Come solo or bring your family and friends to play online games (Jackbox and Kahoot), as well as card and board games (UNO, Chess, Boggle, Telestrations, etc.)!

Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Please remember to bring your charged phone and/or tablet in order to participate in the online play. Register online to save your sport or drop-in day of the event for guaranteed fun gaming.
