Stage Combat: Starting Wednesday September 14th, EPAC will be offering 2 new Stage Combat classes. Every Wednesday there will be a one hour class starting at 4pm for teens ages 13 to 18, and at 7pm for kids ages 8 to 12. The class will cost $15 per student.

This will be a beginner's stage combat course where students learn the basics of all aspects of unarmed stage combat, falling, grappling, punches, kicks, etc. Limited armed combat will also be covered. Special attention will be paid to the safeties required to perform fights as well as how to connect stage combat techniques to text, character and intention.

Group ActingEvery Wednesday EPAC offers Teen and Kids Acting classes. The Teen classes are at 5pm for ages 13 to 18, and the Kids class is at 6pm for ages 6 to 12. Each class is $15 per student per class. Classes are one hour, once a week.

Acting class utilizes fun and exciting theater games to sharpen the tools that we need as actors to perform efficiently and effectively on stage. Focus, quick thinking, problem solving, character development, and improvisational skills are only a few examples of the abilities we will be targeting in this class. In addition, scene study will also be covered in this course, as students will be given scenes to work on with a partner in class. The goal of this class is to improve on a young actors confidence as well as enhancing the techniques they use that will make for an impressive and memorable performance on stage.

Group Dance ClassesEvery Wednesday EPAC offers Dance Classes for all ages. At 4pm there's Preschool Dance Classes for ages 3 to 5, then from 5pm to 6pm, there's Kids Dance class for ages 6 to 12 in the studio. Teen Dance ages 13 to 18 is Wednesdays from 6pm to 7pm, and then 7 to 8pm is for Adults 19 and up.

Have you ever wanted to learn various styles of dance but without taking hours of classes each week? Well then this is the class for you! These classes will offer instruction in a wide variety of dance styles including Hip-Hop, Tap, Musical Theatre, Jazz, Ballet and Lyrical. This will be a great way to enhance your dance skills in a variety of areas without a huge time commitment. A great way to get some exercise in a fun atmosphere. All levels are welcome!

The EPAC school of Performing Arts also offers Drum Lessons, Voice Lessons, Piano Lessons, Winds, Strings, and Music Theory, as well as Private Acting Lessons.
