Congressman Dwight Evans (D-PA-3rd) thanks Speaker Nancy Pelosi for her historic service to the Nation as she steps down from House Democratic leadership.

WASHINGTON  – On Thursday, Nov. 17, 2022, Congressman Dwight Evans (D-PA-3rd) thanked Speaker Nancy Pelosi for her historic service to the nation as she announced she would not seek another term in the House Democratic leadership.

“I want to thank Speaker Pelosi for all that she has done! She has led on so many accomplishments for the American people, such as the Affordable Care Act that has brought health care to millions of Americans, and the landmark Inflation Reduction Act that takes significant steps to make prescription drugs more affordable and makes our largest investment ever in clean energy and fighting climate change. She has led the way on bringing about so much positive change for our country during her transformative service, and it has been an honor to serve under her leadership.”

Evans represents the 3rd Congressional District, which includes Northwest and West Philadelphia and parts of North, South, Southwest and Center City Philadelphia.
