Finalists have been announced for the 2024 Escape the Vape Video Challenge, e-cigarette use prevention PSA video contest for Minnesota middle and high school students. Over 500 students from across Minnesota entered the contest, now in its fourth year. The pool of entries was narrowed down with the help of 12 student judges.
Cast your votes for the winning videos
Online public voting is now open to choose the winning videos. Voting will take place from Tuesday, April 30, through Monday, May 6, on the Escape the Vape Video Challenge website. Winners will be announced after Monday, May 6.

Prizes for students and schools
- Cash prizes for the top five entries in each division. First place winners will receive $500 for the students, and $500 will also go to their school.
- The school with the highest percentage of participating students will receive $1,000.
- All finalists will receive an Escape the Vape Prize Pack filled with swag and other items.
- All qualifying videos will be entered into a giveaway for prizes.

About the Escape the Vape Video Challenge
The Escape the Vape Video Challenge is a program coordinated by ACET, Inc. in partnership with the Minnesota Department of Health. The contest is sponsored by the Masonic Cancer Center at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities Orthopedics, and Oxboro Family Chiropractic.
