WHAT: As part of her Show Up for Service initiative, Utah First Lady Abby Cox is hosting a free community event encouraging Utahns to “do both this summer” by participating in service to our community and having fun doing summer activities. The Show Up for Summer Service Family Fair will include booths from 50 local community service organizations, and attendees will be encouraged to visit with these organizations and learn how to serve with them. 

The event will also include a visit from Cosmo the Cougar, basketball, bounce houses, yard games, giveaways, food trucks, visits from some of Thanksgiving Point’s creatures, and a live concert by the Metro Music Club and several other local artists. Attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chairs.

The event is co-hosted by Show Up, Just Serve, UServe Utah and Thanksgiving Point.
