The star-studded event features performances by a legendary lineup of artists including Calvin Richardson, Willie Clayton and Lenny Williams.

The Calvin Richardson Experience showcases, Multi-Grammy Award nominated singer/songwriter, “Soul Prince” Calvin Richardson. He has been delighting fans with his straight-shooting, no holds barred southern soul forclose to two decades.

Willie Clayton is a singer-songwriter, producer and active recording artistsince the ‘70s. His career spans almost 40 years and includes a wide ranging repertoire of R&B, soul and gospel.

Lenny Williams, the ultimate soul crooner possesses one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary music. With his rich, passionate vocal style, he is rightfully regarded as one of R&B’s most influential soul men.

Shirley Murdock is an R&B singer-songwriter is best known for her 1986 R&B hit single “As We Lay.”

We’ve been talking about this for a few months now and are thrilled to unveil the new FIM brand. As a unified, expanded organization, we now offer even more ways to be entertained and inspired. Our new brand symbolizes our commitment to the power of the performing arts to bring us together as a community, inspire the next generation, and engage us with important issues and each other.

Please check out our rebranded landing page. Although the website reconstruction combining the FIM and Whiting and Capitol sites won’t be completed until March of 2023, we’re delighted to present the spirit of the new brand at thefim.org.
