9:00am: The 4-H Trap Competition will begin.
12:30pm: Check-in for 4-H Skeet at the Cactus Flats Gun Club.
1:00pm: The 4-H Skeet Competition will begin.

2:00pm: The 4-H Air Pistol Competition will begin.
3:30pm: Check-in for the 4-H Air Rifle will begin at the 4-H Building.

Friday, July 22, 2022
9:00am: 4-H Dog Show begins at Pathfinder Park.
4:00pm: Deadline for Pee-Wee Livestock show registrations due by 4:00 p.m.
5:00pm: Gates open for the rodeo
6:00pm: Junior Rodeo at Pathfinder Park
8:00pm: Approximately or when rodeo is finished a dance with the band Rodeo Road Apples.

Saturday, July 23, 2022
7:30–8:30am: Check-in and Vet Check for the 4-H Horse Show at Pathfinder Park.
7:30-9:00am: Pancake breakfast served by the Florence FFA Chapter.
8:30am: A ribbon cutting ceremony at Pathfinder Park will officially open the 2022 Fremont County Fair.
9:00am: 4-H English Showmanship will begin at the Pathfinder Park Arena. The 4-H English Performance Class will follow Showmanship. English Showmanship and Performance Awards will be given immediately following the Show.
9:00am: Pathfinder Park Event Center and grounds setup will begin.
5:00pm: Gates open for the rodeo
6:00pm: Ranch Rodeo at Pathfinder Park.

Sunday, July 24, 2022
8:00–8:30am: Check-in and Vet Check for the 4-H Horse Show at Pathfinder Park.
9:00am: 4-H Western Showmanship will begin at the Pathfinder Park Arena. 4-H Western Performance Class will follow Showmanship. Western Showmanship and Performance Awards will be given immediately following the Show.
3:00–6:00pm: 4-H General Project, Consumer Science, Cloverbuds and Open Fair entries will be accepted at the Pathfinder Park Event Center.
4:30–5:00pm: Check-in and Vet Check for 4-H Gymkhana Events at Pathfinder Park.
5:30pm: 4-H Horse Gymkhana Events begin at Pathfinder Park. Gymkhana awards will be given immediately following the show.
6:00pm: Building closes.

Monday, July 25, 2022
7:00-8:30am: Check-in for 4-H General Projects, Home Economics, Natural Resources, Gardening, Clothing and Heritage Arts will begin at the Pathfinder Park Event Center. The Pathfinder Park Event Center will be closed to the public.
9:00am: 4-H interview judging begins for all 4-H General projects to include Clothing & Heritage Arts at the Pathfinder Park Event Center.
10:00am: 4-H Royalty Modeling Contest will take place outside under the pavilion.
5:00–7:00pm: Open Fair entries will be accepted at the Pathfinder Park Event Center.
Building not open to the public other than to accept entries.
7:00pm: Pathfinder Park Event Center closes.

Tuesday, July 26, 2022
9:00am: Pathfinder Park Event Center opens to the public. Open judging (except for Quilting) begins at the Pathfinder Park Event Center.
11:00-12:00pm: Beef weigh-in at Rodeo Grounds in Canon City.
1:00-4:00pm: Check-in and Weigh-in for ALL 4-H/FFA Livestock. Sheep, Goats and Swine will weigh-in as they are unloaded from trailers.
4:30pm: Ultrasound is optional for 4-H/FFA Livestock.
5:00-8:00pm: Poultry Check-in for 4-H/FFA will begin. Weigh-in times and dates will be posted prior to the Fremont County Fair.
5:30pm: Homemade wine will be judged, at the Abbey Winery. The public is welcome to watch this event but Must be 21 years old to attend.
8:45pm: Free movie sponsored by Spectrum will be Encanto
9:00pm: Pathfinder Park Event Center closes.

Wednesday, July 27, 2022
8:00am: Pathfinder Park Event Center opens to the public.
9:00am: Open Quilt Judging will begin in the Pathfinder Park Event Center.
10:00am: Poultry judging starts in Small Animal Tent. Poultry Showmanship will follow.
1:00pm: 4-H/FFA Dairy Goat judging will begin in the Show Ring. 4-H/FFA Dairy Cattle judging will follow. Awards will be given immediately following the Dairy Shows. Pictures immediately following the show.
Note: If previous show runs over the following event will begin 30 minutes after pictures are completed.
6:00pm: 4-H/FFA Goat Showmanship judging will begin in the Show Ring. Market Goat and Breeding Goat classes will follow. Goat Livestock awards will be given immediately following the Goat Shows. Pictures immediately following the show.
6:30pm: 4-H Rocket Launch if allowed by fire code.
9:00pm: Pathfinder Park Event Center closes.

Thursday, July 28, 2022
8:00am: Pathfinder Park Event Center opens to the public.
8:00am: Check in of all rabbits.
8:30am: 4-H/FFA Market Rabbit Show begins.
Note: If you qualify for the Market Sale, be sure you have your photo taken and fill out sale paperwork at the Sale Trailer.
9:00-Noon Open Gardening entries will be accepted in the Pathfinder Park Event Center.
Exhibitors having more than 5 entries, please enter before 10:00 a.m.
10:00am: Rabbit Breed/Show classes begin.
1:00pm: Rabbit Showmanship begins (Small Animal Tent)
1:00pm: Open Gardening judging will start in the Pathfinder Park Event Center.
1:00pm: 4-H/FFA Sheep Showmanship will start in the Show Ring. The 4-H/FFA Breeding Sheep and Market Sheep shows will follow. Sheep Livestock awards will be given immediately following the Sheep Shows. Pictures immediately following the show.
Note: If previous show runs over the following event will begin 30 minutes after pictures are completed.
6:00pm: 4-H/FFA Swine Showmanship judging will begin in the Show Ring. Market Swine classes will follow. Swine Livestock awards will be given immediately following the Swine Show.
8:00pm: 4-H Family Fun Night sponsored by 4-H Council
9:00pm: Pathfinder Park Event Center closes.

Family & Celebrate Seniors Day
7:30-9:00am: In honor of our Senior Citizens a complimentary breakfast of biscuits and gravy will be served to individuals over the age of 65 on a first come, first served basis. The Beta Zeta Sorority and the Fremont County Fair Board sponsor the event. 4-H Ambassadors will be available to visit with Seniors and offer tours of the fair.
8:00am: Pathfinder Park Event Center opens to the public. Senior Citizen Activities begin in the Entertainment Tent.
9:00-Noon Open Floriculture entries will be accepted in the Pathfinder Park Event Center. Exhibitors having more than 5 entries, please enter before 10:00am: No entries will be taken after 12:00 p.m.
9:30am: Check-in for Pee-Wee Stuffed Rabbit Show will begin under the tent.
10:00-2:00pm: Family Day- Children will have the opportunity to visit educational booths and participate in games and other activities. There will be entertainment for the entire family. The Salida Circus, bounce house, etc.
10:00am: Check-in for Cats.
10:30am: 4-H Pocket Pet, Cat Show begins. Location to be announced. Followed by the Toy Cat Show open to kids under 8. No live animals. Stuffed animals only. The entry fee is $1.00.
10:00am: Pee-Wee Stuffed Rabbit Show under the tent.
10:00-11:00am: Salida Circus Show by the Entertainment Tent.
10:00-11:00am: Pee-Wee Livestock Vet check. Location to be determined.
12:00pm: Pee-Wee Livestock Show will begin in the Show Ring.
12:00pm: “Lunch in a Jiffy”, which consists of either a hot dog or a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, chips, cookie and a drink will be available for minimal cost.
1:00pm: Open Floriculture judging will start in the Pathfinder Park Event Center. The public is welcome to watch this event.
1:00-2:00pm: Salida Circus Show by the Entertainment Tent.
2:00pm: Watermelon eating contest starts in the Entertainment Tent. Family Day activities will close with this event.
5:00pm: 4-H/FFA Breeding Beef Show will begin in the Show Ring. Breeding Beef awards will be given following the Breeding Beef Show. 4-H/FFA Market Beef judging will begin 30 minutes from the completion of the Breeding Beef judging. Beef Showmanship will follow the Market Beef Show. Market Beef Livestock awards will be given immediately following the Market Beef Show.
8:00pm: Approximately following the Beef Show a concert by country music artist Ashley Barron.
9:00pm: Pathfinder Park Event Center closes to the public.

Buyers’ Day
7:30am: Cowboy Church
8:00am: Pathfinder Park Event Center opens to the public.
8:00am: Mandatory meeting in the Show Ring for 4-H/FFA members and parents who will be participating in the Master Showmanship.
8:30am: The 4-H/FFA Master Showmanship Competition will begin in the Show Ring. During this competition the County Fair’s 4-H/FFA Showmen show Sheep, Swine,
Goats, Beef, Dairy Cattle and Horses for the title of Master Showman. The Reverse Showmanship Competition will follow Master Showmanship. In this competition, the
parent of 4-H/FFA members competing in Master Showmanship will have the opportunity to prove their showmanship skills.
8:30am: Mandatory meeting for all Small Animal Master Showmanship Qualifiers for the Title of the very first Fremont County Small Animal Master Showman and/or
Reserve Small Animal Master Showman. During this Small Animal Master Showmanship competition, each exhibitor will show a Rabbit, Poultry, and Dog. A parent of that exhibitor will also show the same animals.
11:00am: The Parade of Champions Award Ceremony will be held in the Entertainment Tent.
12:00pm: Release of Poultry not in Livestock Sale.
2:00pm: The Buyers’ Barbeque will be held in the Entertainment Tent.
3:30pm: The 4-H Family of the Year and other special awards will be presented in the Show Ring.
4:00pm: The 4-H/FFA Market Livestock Sale will begin in the Show Ring.
5:00-7:00pm: Open and 4-H Fair Exhibits will be released. Open premiums will be awarded when exhibits are checked out.
7:00pm: Pathfinder Park Event Center closes to the public.

Sunday, July 31, 2022
7:00am: 4-H/FFA animals released and hauled to the locker plants.
8:00am: Pen and outside clean up starts. Families are requested to come help.
12:00pm: Clean up inside all 4-H families are requested to come help.
12:00pm: - 2:00pm: Release of Open & 4-H/FFA Exhibits.
