Holiday Closure
The Library will be closed Monday, October 10 in observance of the holiday. The Library will reopen to the public on Tuesday, October 11 at 10AM.

Winter is Coming: Cleaning and Prepping Your Garden Tools for Next Year
Saturday, October 1 at 10AM
Protect your investment in your garden tools by keeping them in good working order and helping them last longer. Attendees may bring a small tool of their own on which to try applying techniques they learn in the workshop.

Reading to a Library Dog
Monday, October 3 at 4PM

Come and read to Aston, a certified therapy dog. Registration is required. This program is designed to help develop reading skills and is recommended for children who want to practice their reading fluency.

Bouncing Books and Babies
Tuesdays at 10AM until Tuesday, November 15

Ages 6 months to 2 1/2 years
Program will include two to three books, songs, finger-plays, and circle games.

Gosling Gathering Story Time
Tuesdays at 11AM until Tuesday, November 15

Ages 2 to 5 years.
Three to four books will be read. Children and parents will also participate in songs, finger-plays, and a simple craft.

Pajama Story Time

Come to the library for a fun evening!  3-4 books, songs, rhymes and a quiet activity will be offered.  Wearing pajamas is encouraged.  This program is for all ages.

Family Outdoor Story Time
Fridays in October at 10AM

Join our Children's Librarians outside as they will read stories under a tree on the library lawn and then provide a fun outdoor activity! Bring a blanket and snack. If the weather does not cooperate the story time will be held inside the library. This program is for all ages.

Teen Event: Halloween Candy Sushi
For those in grades 7-12!

Come make and eat ‘sushi’ made with special edition Halloween treats!

Chess Club
Friday, October 14 at 3:30PM

For students in 3rd - 6th grade. An informal gathering of students interested in playing chess with others.  A knowledge of how to play chess is recommended.  The chess boards and pieces will be provided.  Register online.

Paint and decorate pumpkins with neon colors and UV reactive paint to make glowing masterpieces!

Watergate At 50 — The Burglary That Changed The Nation
Thursday, October 27 at 7PM

Learn the story of how a local break-in became a national scandal, and how it profoundly changed the way Americans think about their political institutions. Led by Daniel Breen, a Senior Lecturer in Legal Studies at Brandeis University, and a recipient of the Louis Brandeis Award for Excellence in Teaching. Register online.

Beginner Book Club
Tuesday, October 4 at 4PM

For students in kindergarten through 3rd grade. The book will be provided and read together (independent reading skills are not required).  Join us for a book discussion and questions, along with jokes, riddles, and a craft! Space is limited and registration is required.

GPL Book Group
Monday, October 17 at 7PM

MA Children’s Book Awards Book Club
Monday, October 24 at 7PM

This month's selection is Float by Laura Martin. For kids in 4th -6th grade and their parents or caregivers (optional). Registration is recommended.

Senior Center Book Group
