December 3, 2022

Today, Congresswoman Nikema Williams joined dozens of Democratic volunteers in Columbus to get out the vote in Muscogee County ahead of Election Day, December 6. Volunteers canvassed local neighborhoods to speak to voters about the importance of re-electing Reverend Raphael Warnock and making a plan to vote on Tuesday, December 6.

Voters can go to iWillVote.com to find their Election Day polling place, and Georgians can also call or text the Voter Protection hotline at 888-730-5816 with any questions.

“The people that you are talking to today – a lot of them have not already voted. You have to remind people that it’s a runoff and that they can get in line on Election Day from 7:00am to 7:00pm. And if they are in line by 7:00pm they should stay in line because they will be allowed to go in,” said Congresswoman Nikema Williams. “When we celebrate on Tuesday night – and we will be celebrating – this is our victory. This isn’t about winning for winning’s sake. This is about the people – the people who need someone fighting for them every day. Not for special interests, but for the people of this country.”
