Parsippany Girl Scout Troop 93 recently visited the Mount Pleasant Animal Shelter. Prior to the visit, they held a donation drive and also purchased much needed supplies for the animals. The girls were treated to a wonderful tour of the shelter which is a true asset to many homeless pets seeking their forever home!

Mount Pleasant Animal Shelter is located 194 Route 10, East Hanover. Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter is a non-profit 501(c)(3) animal welfare organization that is 100% privately funded. Our mission is threefold: To provide exceptional care for homeless animals; To promote spaying/neutering, microchipping and humane education; and To place homeless cats and dogs in permanent, loving homes.

Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter is a limited admission facility founded in 1972, welcoming orphaned cats and dogs as room permits.  Quality veterinary care, microchipping, pediatric spay/neuter and kennel enrichment are provided for every animal in our care, and animals are never euthanized for lack of space.
