Give Your Clothes a Second Life with Project Wear and Share

Clubs and Organizations

February 26, 2015

Project Wear and Share is an annual donation drive hosted throughout the month of March by Goodwill Industries-Knoxville in collaboration with nearly 30 local dry cleaning establishments.

Dry cleaners in Knoxville, Oak Ridge, Clinton, Farragut, Maryville, Sevierville, and Morristown are lending a hand by collecting and cleaning donations, which are then given to Goodwill. These goods are sold in local stores to generate funds for Goodwill's job training programs and employment services. In 2014, Goodwill served over 4,000 individuals with barriers to employment in East Tennessee.

Find a list of participating dry cleaners at www.gwiktn.org. There, you can also learn about Goodwill's vocational programs, which wouldn't be possible without the support of our donors.
