The Janice Mirikitani Family, Youth and Childcare Center (FYCC) was established in 1999 to address the challenges faced by the children of very low-income households. 

FYCC provides a holistic set of resources for home, school and community — including after-school programming — in a safe, welcoming and culturally diverse environment for children like Diego, who is excited for this fall: “I’m looking forward to my classes, especially art class. I am looking forward to meeting new friends.”
