Governor Kelly Announces Administration Appointments

TOPEKA – Today, Governor Kelly announced two appointments and three reappointments to the following state boards and councils.

Kansas State Library Board
Purpose: Advocate for statewide library services and resources, encouraging cooperation among libraries and promoting and encouraging innovative library services.

-Bonnie Limbird, Prairie Village

Statewide Independent Living Council of Kansas
Purpose: To develop a State Plan through external input, which ensures independent living for Kansans; advocate for the accomplishment of the State Plan objectives; monitor, review, and evaluate the implementation of the plan; and be a statewide catalyst for independent living.

-Heather Center, Topeka

Kansas Board of Pharmacy
Purpose: License and register entities conducting business relating to the practice of pharmacy; protect public health and welfare against unprofessional, improper and unauthorized practice of pharmacy.

-Terica Gatewood, Topeka (reappointment)
-Tiffany Strohmeyer, Topeka (reappointment)

Kansas State Fair Board
Purpose: To promote and showcase Kansas agriculture, industry and culture, to create opportunity for commercial activity, and to provide an educational and entertaining experience that is the pride of all Kansans.

-Robert Atkisson, Stockton (reappointment)
