In partnership with the GBCC Health and Wellness, Grateful Friends welcomes donations from area businesses for their Comfort Basket program, which brings unexpected joy to cancer patients as they journey through their cancer treatment.

Beverly Main Streets Block Party July 29

Get ready, Block Party Beverly is coming at you fast! Come downtown and party with your friends on

July 29th from 5:30-9:30pm!

This year’s Block Party will include live music from local bands, mind blowing DJ sets, refreshing beer and food from beloved local restaurants, interactive activities, as well

as party games for all to enjoy. 

Entry to this event is a suggested $5 cash donation. Please note that beer, wine, and sangria will be cash only. Anyone planning to drink must have a valid driver’s license or Massachusetts ID with them. Sorry, but please leave the dogs at home for this party!

Program Starts August 7th

Now is the time to start a rewarding career in advanced manufacturing – the demand for skilled workers has never been higher! Hourly wages for machinists are $18 - $25, with entry-level salaries ranging from $30,000 - $50,000. You can earn a National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS) certificate in CNC milling plus college credit, free of charge.

Classes are designed to help students on the path to a well-paying, secure career. We offer tracks for career changers and those looking to advance their career in manufacturing. We also offer high school completion and ESL track.
