GBCC SEEKING COMMITTEE MEMBERS - GET INVOLVED

We are seeking committee members for two of our year round committees, the Membership Committee and the Government Affairs Committee (GAC).

For more information regarding either of these committees, please contact Leslie Gould at [email protected]

Membership Committee: This Committee is chaired by Brad Hunt of Salem Five Bank and Jane McNally of the Children's Center for Communication/Beverly School for the Deaf, and meets once a month. Its mission is to engage non-members to join, organize quarterly new member orientations and an annual membership drive. The Membership committee also organizes and attends monthly Brewing Business Networking Coffees to engage both members and non-members. The Committee also works collaboratively with the Ambassador Committee on member promotion initiatives.

The GBCC Government Affairs Committee is chaired by GBCC Board of Director, Rich Vincent, and meets on the first Wednesday of the month at the GBCC office from 8am – 9am. The GBCC encourages all members to participate, but the core GAC discusses and weighs in on issues that affect our business community. When appropriate, the GAC makes recommendations for the Board of Directors to take a position. If you have a passion or curiosity about local/regional government, this is an excellent educational opportunity to be at the table with elected officials, decision and policy makers and community leaders.  The GBCC GAC mission is to review, promote and advance business issues and initiatives that drive a vibrant economic business environment and serves as a relevant resource with public policy makers, government officials and community leaders.

If you are interested in serving on either of these committees, please contact Leslie Gould at [email protected].
