From humble beginnings nearly 30 years ago, Gretna Fest has grown to become the best place to revel on the river – with a direct view of the New Orleans skyline.

Savor a huge variety of food from more than 50 vendors and experience a variety of exciting heritage villages. Find a treasure among our many arts and crafts vendors. Quench your thirst in our craft beer area or several conveniently-placed bars. Bring your children to enjoy the Kid's Corner, located next to the German Village. Join us at The Club Backstage, located in the Gretna Cultural Center for the Arts, which will feature live music, football gameday watch parties, a full bar and more!

Gretna Fest 2023 is a completely cashless event. All access to the festival and all purchases will be made through your RFID wristband.

Our food and drink vendors do not accept cash or credit cards at the festival.

Your wristband to the festival can be linked directly to your credit card during the wristband registration process. When you pay, you simply 'scan' your wristband on a reader and it will charge your card directly.

Children 4 & under may enter the festival for free. Children between 5 and 12 must purchase a child wristband for entry. Ages 5 and up require ticket purchase for access to Friend of the Fest Area and the River Club Suites.
