The Village of Lisle, in partnership with @DuPageCounty and @CoolDuPage, is pleased to share that a Document Destruction (paper shredding) event will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to noon in Commuter Parking Lot C, just south of Village Hall at 925 Burlington Avenue in Lisle. This convenient service includes the help of friendly event staff that will remove documents from trunk/cargo areas and place them into a mobile shredding truck for cross-cut shredding on site, which is then sent for recycling.

Documents can be brought to the event in paper shopping bags or cardboard boxes (please, no plastic bags). Individuals are limited to three paper shopping bags or two copier paper sized boxes per vehicle. Paper clips and staples can remain, but please remove binders and metal clips. The event will end at noon or when each shred truck has met its 12,000 pound capacity.
