Hayward Seed Lending Library Presents: Attracting Pollinators

Your tomatoes need help getting the pollen from flower to flower so that you'll enjoy the fruit later in the season. Join us for a Master Gardener lecture on plants that attract pollinators and learn about plants that support the needs of these very vital members of the ecosystem.

Hayward Public Library’s Seed Lending Library operates as a community seed exchange in which borrowers are able to “check out” a wide variety of vegetable and flower seeds to plant in their gardens for home use. All skill levels are welcome and there's no cost to join and participate.

Online Spanish Conversation Circles
Tuesdays at 11:00 a.m., Online

Spanish Conversation Circles provide a supportive environment to practice your Spanish-speaking skills. A volunteer guides the conversation and answers questions. The circle is designed for all levels to provide the opportunity to speak and listen to one another in Spanish.

English Conversation Circles are designed for adults who are looking for a supportive and fun environment to practice their English-speaking skills. The goal is to strengthen conversational skills, while building confidence and community with other adults whose native language is not English.
