Alliance for the Great Lakes September Beach Cleanup

The Alliance for the Great Lakes is a nonpartisan nonprofit working across the Great Lakes region to protect our most precious resource: the fresh, clean, and natural waters of the Great Lakes. We are active in advocacy, volunteering, education, and research.

Each year, through the Adopt-a-Beach program, thousands of volunteers work to keep the Great Lakes shorelines healthy by removing litter from our beaches and collecting important data.

We hope you’ll join us on Saturday, September 17, 2022 for a Great Lakes day of action as we work to reach our goal of 500,000 pounds of litter removed from Great Lakes shorelines!

Harvest Festival Volunteers

We need volunteer help with many aspects of Harvest Festival! We strive to be a zero-waste event, so all of our food waste is sorted into the proper bin. We need help with setting up and taking down tables and chairs, handing out programs, hanging up signs, etc. This is a super fun event celebrating food, farmers, and community.
