The new Marco’s Pizza is owned and operated by local entrepreneur Chamal Kahanawita. Chamal is originally from Sri Lanka and came to America in 2005 to follow his dream of receiving his degree in engineering from the University of Texas at Dallas. Although he was late to the pizza party, Chamal got his first taste of a slice at age 15 and fell in love at first bite and now at age 32 has decided to open a Marco’s Pizza.
