We are excited for the Silver Anniversary of "Peach Days: A Celebration of our Heritage." This 25th year of "hometown fun" takes place Labor Day weekend. It is held each year at the "old town square" that is now our community center.

Schedule of Events

August 29, 2023

1:00 pm Free Peach Days Golf Tournament (Register at Sky Mt Pro Shop) Donate non-perishable food for food bank

August 30, 2023

5-10 pm: Pickleball Tournament $10 Comm. Cntr

4 to 8:30 pm: Enter Displays: Home Arts, Fine Arts, & Garden, farm, Bottled & baked entries. Pick up Display Saturday 9 pm Firm

8:00 pm: Silver Anniversary Concert

August 31, 2023

7 am to 3 pm: Vendor set up

10:00 a.m.: Quilt Camp 10 am-9 pm- Room #108 (632-2560, or quiltyfriends.com)

11 am-2:00 pm: American Legion $10 burger meal

5:00 p.m.: Peach Days Opens:
Displays: Home Arts; Fine Arts; Garden, Farm, Bottling & Baking, Seed Display,
Train Room (Community Center Bldg)
Quilt Show (Zion Piecemakers ) Fine Arts Bldg
Vendors: Food, Commercial, Homemade
Carnival and Games
Continuous Entertainment: 3 stages: (Main Lawn, Fine Arts Lawn, West Lawn)

5-10 pm: Pickleball Tournament $10 Comm. Cntr

6:00 p.m.: Opening Ceremonies

7:00 p.m.: "Newsies" - Hurricane Valley Theatrical Co. Fine Arts Building (Purchase tickets there or online)

7:00 pm: Youth Rodeo $5 ticket; 5 & under free. (Rodeo Grounds 2518 S. 630 W.) Concessions available.

10:00 p.m.: Displays close

September 1, 2023

7:00 p.m.: "Newsies"-HVTC- Fine arts Bldg

8:00 p.m.: Foam Dance - north of Fine Arts bldg

Dusk (8:30pm): Movie in the Park (by splashpad)

September 2, 2023

6:15 a.m.: 12K Fun Run (Register 5:30 am at info booth in front of Community Center)

6:30 a.m.: Historic Hurricane Canal Trek (Strenuous and moderate: meet at Hurricane Rim Trailhead (1st crest of Hurr. Hill on hwy 9. Gravel parking by cell tower); t-shirt $8 if hiking)

7:00 a.m.: Easy Historic Hurricane Canal Trek (Meet at Bowery Trail Head 200 N. 200 E.) t-shirt $8 for participants.

9:00 a.m.: Parade (line up 8:00 a.m. along 400 South -Parade route cleared from 7 am to 11 am)
Parade starts at 400 S. Main, north to 100 S; west to 300 W; then south to 300 S, ending at Red Brick Church 300 S. 300 W. (Live stream by Dixie College TV)

After parade: HHS All Class Reunion: after parade until noon - Reunion Room #106 Comm. Center

7:00 p.m.: "Newsies"-HVTC- Fine arts Bldg

7:00 p.m.: Open Rodeo (2518 S. 630 W.) $8 adults, $5 age 6-12; 5 and under free. Concessions. Rough stock, timed events.

8:00 p.m.: Foam Dance - north of Fine Arts bldg

9:00 p.m.: Displays close (No pick up before 9 pm)

9:30 p.m.: Fireworks! Shot from HHS Baseball fld.

10:00 p.m.: Peach Days Closes
