Sundaes with Santa

Every Sunday before Christmas at noon and 2pm: Dec. 4, 11, 18.

Step into JAHA’s winter wonderland for a jolly good visit with Santa! Your visit will include the opportunity to create an ice cream sundae and listen to a story with Santa, a Christmas craft, and of course a visit with Santa himself!

Adults do not need tickets to accompany their children to visit Santa, but non-member adults will need a museum ticket if you and your child would like to visit the Johnstown Children’s Museum afterward! Ice cream is generously donated by Galliker’s.

2023 Annual Fund kicks off

JAHA announced our Annual Fund drive at a press conference at the Johnstown Flood Museum on Giving Tuesday (Nov. 29). Richard Burkert highlighted a letter from David McCullough dated June 4, 1989, in his remarks: “The Museum is a spectacular example of what talent and a strong sense of community can achieve. I’ve seen and visited a great many historic museums and landmarks all over the country, but I have never seen one done better than yours.”

In 2023 JAHA will celebrate the Johnstown Flood Museum's 50th anniversary and so much more, and we are asking for your support! Letters are going out to friends and the business community this week -- read our latest blog post for more.
