We Need An Environmental Leader in the State Auditor's Office

I am thrilled to be supporting Chris Dempsey for State Auditor, he is the exact type of climate focused candidate we need in the Commonwealth. I wanted to personally invite you to our Environmental Champions for Chris Dempsey event on Wednesday, June 29th.

The State House has already passed the ambitious 2050 Roadmap Bill, creating detailed plans that will help Massachusetts become one of the first states in the country to reach net zero. 

But we won't get to net zero without holding the executive branch accountable to those goals. Chris will make the State Auditor’s Office the first in the country to incorporate carbon accounting into our audits of state agencies. He will also create an Auditor’s Commission on Environmental Justice so that we don’t leave anyone or any communities behind.

Chris Dempsey has spent his career as a dedicated public servant who fully understands the job of State Auditor. He has the background, experience, and vision to be an effective State Auditor who will help make Massachusetts a national leader on Climate Change.
