Governor Kelly Tours Butler County Special Education Interlocal, Meets with Students to Discuss Importance of Fully Funding Special Education Programs

“Every student deserves access to the resources and support they need to thrive both in and out of the classroom. Facilities like the Butler County Special Education Interlocal are going above and beyond to provide students with critical learning opportunities and teaching real-life skills to prepare for life after graduation. We must continue ensuring these programs are available for our students by fully funding special education in our public schools."

“Improving mental health in every community is essential to creating a healthy, thriving Kansas. By investing in organizations that directly work with Kansans in crisis, we are furthering our mission to prevent suicide and ensure every Kansan can access the mental health services he or she needs."
