Governor Laura Kelly Establishes Office of Registered Apprenticeship to Connect Kansans to Jobs

“We have spurred remarkable economic growth here in Kansas, but to continue that success, we have to ensure Kansas workers have the skills and opportunities they need to compete in today’s global economy. I created this new Office of Registered Apprenticeship to prioritize fostering a workforce that meets the needs of Kansas businesses and of essential industries like education and healthcare.”

Governor Kelly Welcomes K-State President Linton to Kansas During Inauguration

I have no doubt that, with Dr. Linton’s talents and ambition, K-State is well on its way to becoming the modern, next-generation land-grant university he envisions. He is the perfect fit for Kansas, and as the product of five land-grant institutions himself, he’s the perfect fit for K-State. I’m looking forward to continuing our strong partnership with K-State under his leadership.

Governor Kelly Visits Urban Farm and Market, Common Ground Producers and Growers in Wichita

I visited the oldest and largest urban farm and affordable market in Wichita, Common Ground Producers and Growers, on my #ProsperityOnThePlains tour. They provide fresh produce and address food insecurity. I want to thank all of them for their essential work!”
