Special Days Of The Fair:
Thursday, August 17: County Fairs Day
Come one, come all 120 Kentucky counties. We will highlight winners from county pageants and competitions and have special activities planned throughout the day.
Sunday, August 20: Military Sunday
Active military and veterans, as well as their families, can attend the fair for free. Military ID is required. There is a limit of four free tickets, and parking is not included. Wristbands for Thrill Ville will be discounted 20% and available on-site. There is a limit of 6 wristbands per valid military ID.
Monday, August 21: $5 Monday
Those looking for a big bargain won’t want to miss this day. The $5 admission is per person and includes parking.
Tuesday, August 22: Senior Day
Senior Day allows anyone 55 and older to enter the fair for free. Parking is not included.
Wednesday, August 23: Sensory Awareness Day
In partnership with Kissel Entertainment, FEAT of Louisville, Home of the Innocents, and Kentucky Autism Training Center, free admission and Thrill Ville tickets will be given to fairgoers with sensory processing differences. From 10 a.m. until noon, Thrill Ville will operate with minimal lights and music to create an enjoyable fair experience for those with sensory sensitivities. Limited tickets are available. Kentucky State Fair Beerfest - August 19, 2023
The Kentucky State Fair is proud to partner with Louisville Ale Trail to present the inaugural BEERFEST. The event will happen on the first Saturday of the State Fair, August 19, 2023. Up to 20 breweries from around the Bluegrass will come together to showcase their craft beers for fairgoers to enjoy. More details to come soon for this special-ticketed event.
Farm to Fair Cooking Stage
Farm to Fair Cooking Stage features demonstrations by fine chefs, caterers and bakers from across the Commonwealth. Live cooking demonstrations and competitions will be heating up on the state-of-the-art Farm to Fair cooking stage, located in South Wing A.

Feed your need for entertainment and food. We have great performances prepared for you across many of our locations. The fair is an 11-day food and music-lovers dream, with food and music tents that will cater to even the pickiest of preferences!
The Budweiser Tent
Cool off and relax within the Bud Tent! We have entertainment planned throughout the day and have cold drinks on tap.
The Big Tent
A new entertainment tent located in Lot A adjacent to the South Wing will bring unique food, drinks and entertainment to the Fair.
The Great Kentucky Proud Cookout
Join us and the various producers from around the state to celebrate what makes Kentucky Proud. Now relocated into South Wing A, we have all the meal options you need!
The Texas Roadhouse Concert Series is located in Parking Lot L.
